Today in music class we learn about the kodaly sign. kodaly sign is all about the music sign with hand. we learn how to make sign from "do" back until "do" again. Mr. Herry checked one by one for the kodaly sign. after that we use the kodaly sign for a song called Good Morning. after learning the kodaly sign Mr.Herry told us to update our blog and also said that he will send to us our music workbook.

Mr.Herry told us in our last music session that we can have our second change in music theory. so today we have our second theory assessment that is about notation and music history. the second quiz also have 2 section, the first one is music history and the second section is about notation and chords. for me this second theory assessment is more easier than the first time. I'm really confidence with my theory assessment score because i already hard for the assessment.

today, we have a written test. the written test is about all we learn before like chords and the others. i think the test is quite hard, we have the history section and the theory section. i think the history is more harder for me. i just hope that i can get a good score. after our test Mr Herry show the reflection blog, and we have a homework that is to learn about the music history and theory again because we will have another test and also we need to update our blog. i will learn harder for the next test so i can get a good score.

today in music class, Mr Herry told our practical music assessment score. I'm really surprise because i got a full mark, i got 10 over 10. I'm so happy with my assessment result. after Mr Herry told our assessment score we all learn about the major and minor that are related. i think i dint have problem with this topic because its not really hard. we also have homework that is learn about all the major 7th, dominant 7 and all of the theory because there will be a written test. i hope i can do my best in the written test.

today is actually my assessment day, but i already done my music assessment last week so i already done my music assessment. so this day is my friend's music assessment for guitar and flute. i watch my friends play their own composition song and i think they all did really great. after all my friends do the music assessment Mr.Herry give us homework, that is to open theory website teoria.com, i think i dont have problems with this homework.

today in music class I'm really surprise because today is the music assessment for violin and piano. I'm so surprise because i thought my music assessment is the next week. although i think I'm not ready but i still do my assessment. before my music assessment i ask Mr.Herry to give us some time to rehearse for a moment. after we rehearse the music assessment begin. first the assessment begin with piano and then violin and cello. when I'm waiting I'm really nervous and my hand are so cold. after i done my music assessment i feel really relief because i have done it.
i think in my music assessment i did it really well and i hope that i can get a good score.

Today in our music class, we spend our time to checking our project for those that did not submit their project, either the finale own composition song and also the midi classical. after checking our project Mr.Herry also check our homework that is about the major 7th chord and the inversion. we checked our homework together, Mr.Herry pick me to go in front of the class to write my homework on the whiteboard and also my other friend. I'm really glad that my work that i wrote in the whiteboard is all right. after checking all things we have some fun by guessing songs, I'm really having fun when we do the guessing song. after we had little fun we continue our music lesson by going to our instrument class cause we need to practice for our next assessment.

Today in our theory class Mr.Herry checked on our project that the finale our own composition song and the midi classical. after checking our project we all learn about the chord major 7th and the inversion. this learning is actually new for me but i don't have problem because i think its not that hard. after we learning about the chord and inversion, Mr.Herry picked from the piano group to present their own composition. i think my friend's song is really good and they play it also good. i hope for my own composition song will be good and people will enjoy to hear my song.

Today in our music class, Mr.Herry discuss about our composition song in finale. some of our friends didn't understand how to use the finale and because of that Mr.Herrry teach us how to use the finale. first, Mr.Herry told us how to organize the bars so that we can make each line consist of 4 bars and also Mr. Herry teach us how to put the lyric in finale. i think i don't have problem using the finale because i already submit my homework earlier. after Mr.Herry teach us how to use finale he give us another homework to download the midi classical file. at first I'm really confused with the midi file cause at first i don't know what to do but that is nor for long. Mr.Herry also told us about the midi file and finally i can understand the midi classical, actually downloading the midi file is not hard when you already understand what to do.

Today is also our next singing assessment, but its different that before because today we sing the western song. in this singing assessment we could choose the song either the "La Bamba" or the "What a Wonderful Life". I'm really happy in this assessment because Mr.Herry told us that we can picked our partner, i picked Jacintha to be my partner. both of us choose the song "La Bamba" because its more cheerfull that the other song. although the "La Bamba" song is harder for me but i still choose that song. when the first i have a little problem that is to remember the lyrics. the lyrics is little bit hard to remember because its foreign language, but me and my partner sing the song without text. I'm really proud for me and my partner because we work hard together. and I'm really hope that in this singing assessment i can get a good score.

Today is our singing assessment day, our singing assessment is to sing the traditional song called "Gundul Pacul" song. first when Mr.Herry told us that we can have a partner I'm really happy, but he said that our partner have to be a boy. at first i was little bit disappointed because that our partner must be a boy. but I'm also happy that we can have our partner in the singing assessment because its bring more confidence for me. Mr. Herry said to us that he will give us an extra score if we sing and dance but I'm not that confidence to dance so i just sing. i think i did well in my singing traditional song assessment and i really hope that i can get a good mark for my singing assessment.

Today in music class Mr.Herry checked our homework that is put the lyric in our 32 bars composition song. after Mr. Herry finished check our homework we all sing the western song, the song is called "La Bamba". when first i sing the song its really complicated because of the rhythm and the lyrics. the lyrics is so hard because its not in english and its little bit hard to say it. but when we sing like 3rd time i don't really have the same problem because actually the song is not that hard.

Today in our theory class first we sing again the Gundul Pacul song together and we sing in front of the class according to our music instrument group. after we finish singing the song Mr. Hery told us to make a composition song that consist of 32 bars beside that we also have a homework, our homework is to copy our own composition song to finale, and we also need to put the lyrics on. first i need to borrow the finale disk because i dont have it in my computer. i think i dont any problem composing my own song and put it finale because finale is quite simple for me.

First in our class today Mr.Hery checked our homework that he has given us. the homework is still about composing a song. i did my homework and i think i did really well in my homework. After Mr.Hery check our homework, we all sing the "Gundul Pacul" song. Before singing the Gundul Pacul song Mr.Hery told us to warming up before singing. we all warming up in front of the class with our instrument group. After finish warming up we finally sing the Gundul Pacul song. I think i don't have problem with singing that song but the lyric its kinda complicated. i will do my best and learn the lyric so i could sing better.

Today, in our class we learn how to compose a song and also learning about music form. we compose a song that consist of 16 bars and the form is A A' B A'. First, Mr.Hery give us the example of how to compose a song and after that we have to make our own song. After making our own song, we have a homework that is also composing a song but in different form, the first form is A A' B B' and the second form is A B B' A'. After we were given our homework Mr.Hery give us a lyric of Indonesian Traditional song that is "Gundul Pacul" song and "Sapu Nyere Pegat Simpai" song. I think i don't have problem with composing a song because it is not that hard and it was quite simple.

like as usual we have a homework. our homework for this time is to do our task, Mr. Hery told us step by step to open the bookwork. The first thing that we must to do is open our student desk and open the academic excellent, then find the middle year course, and then find music, after that go to grade 9 development workbook, and finally we fill the task and after we finish doing our task we should send our task to Mr.Hery email. After giving our homework task, today is also our singing assessment, in our singing assessment we all must sing the "Indonesia Pusaka" song. at first, when i was in front of the class I'm little bit nervous but not for long. After finish my singing assessment i think i did well in the assessment. i just hope that i can get a good mark for my singing assessment.

In our class today we watch our assessment video, but not all video we only watch some of our friends. After watching the assessment video, Mr Hery told us our score in popular music paper and also our classical music paper. both of my popular music paper and classical music paper i got 6 out of 8. actually I'm not really satisfied with my score, because i think i can have a better score. after knowing our score in popular music paper and classical music paper Mr.Hery also told us our assessment score, in my assessment score i got 9 out of 10, I'm really happy that my hard work is fully rewarded.

Today, in our class we learn about the C major 7th, G major 7th, and D major 7th. We also learn about C7, G7, and D7. After we learn about the 7th chord Mr.Hery give us a short quiz, first i thought the quiz is gonna be hard but i think the quiz is not really hard. and i did really well in that short quiz. After finish our quiz, there was a performance by Rudy Wisnu, he is Mr.Harry brother. Mr.Rudy Wisnu is playing trumpet and french horn and it was really nice. if someone interested to play trumpet or french horn they can join the acp and the teacher will be Mr.Rudy Wisnu. i don't think i will take the trumpet or french horn acp because i already join the string club.

today in our music class is the last day of our first assessment, we finish our assessment with the flute and violin performance. after we all finish our first assessment we discuss about our blog homework, and we all give our URL to Mr.Harry so that he can check our music reflection. after that we were given another homework that is learn a song that is "Indonesia Pusaka". i already know the song and i think i don't have any difficulties on that song.

Today, its time for the first assessment. we will assess our skill playing instrument. I'm playing violin, i feel really nervous when I'm waiting. my hands really cold and i feel scared that i didn't do well in the first assessment. but when i play in front of the class my nervous is getting away and i think i did well in my first assessment. I really hope that i will get a good mark in my first music assessment.

Today in music class is the day that me and my group will presentate our presentation that is about popular music vs. classical music. My group is the first group to presentate. the feedback for our group is to short, no attachment, and the design is good but we need picture. so our group got B. B is good but i think me and my friends can do better than B, so next time we will try harder.

This day is not the day that we will presentate our homework that about popular music vs. classical music. today we all sing "Hari Merdeka" again. we all divided into gender and each group will sing "Hari Merdeka" in front of the class. After singing in front of the class we make note by C, F, and G chord. we all given another homework that is learn singing "Berkibarlah Benderaku" song. I think i don't have any problem with that because i already know the song.

In my group there are me, Keisya, Mutia, Jennifer, Gio, and Andrew. The title of the presentation is Popular music vs. Classical music. I don't have problem singing "Hari Merdeka" because i already know that song. but some of my friends don't know Hari Merdeka song because some of them were not from Indonesia. After done singing Hari Merdeka we learn about C minor natural and C minor harmonic, its little bit confusing but i understand. We all got homework that is about learn to sing "Hari Merdeka".

Today in the first music class, we all divided into which music instruments do we choose. There's piano, violin or cello, flute, and guitar. first, no one choose the flute class because flute is new. Before flute class actually it was the choir class. Finally some students would like to join the flute class. I choose the violin class because i can play violin.
